Hard crowd to impress lol. I don't know how else to do it to prove it to you... I did have a play around with it beforehand and also had it running beautifully at 4.9:

Also tried to step it up to 5.1. Ai Suite seemed to think it was ok, but IBT and other load testing didn't agree lol:

Ai Suite has to reset your PC to change clock speed so I don't understand how you could post an image doing the same test?

I have alsuite i know you don't have to restart to change clock speeds or voltage, look if you got 5ghz stable good on you im not a moderator to judge if its true or not, to me the images you upload seem evasive always with a blocked view of something but it looks like other more experienced overclockers are convinced so thats fair enough

heres a 4.4ghz stress test i did and then changed settings via alsuite to 4.6ghz, opened cpu-z and took a snip of it

its not impossible to do it with 5ghz

If we've come to the point that users photoshop in false information then we've lost our own satisfaction of reaching these overclocks and being proud of what we accomplished and want to share it with others.

You're coming across as accusing DTH of posting false data, my initial questions were simply to get all his screenshot on the same picture, not saying it wasn't legitimate results, I did ask for load temperature readings as I'm still interested in what they are, but just for my own knowledge.

Obviously DTH has one very high quality CPU in his possession to even reach these overclock levels at all water cooling, so I think that's why the results seem shocking to all of us. Ryan

its not photoshopped just changed settings after the stress test,
in the 5ghz shot cpu-z shows core voltage at 0.8v to me thats amazing but your right i made an accusation i shouldn't have and im sorry for that,
its a very good achievement hitting 5ghz

Since the Stresstest is over, the voltage should return to idle. Thus I asked what his voltage under load was...

Have just download the core temp program, so I will give you a definitive answer later :)

That sounds fishy, no sane person would stress test a CPU at 5ghz without checking the temps. 😉

yeah you would think all the effort asus put into the software it would at least give decent temperature readings

I do not think coding is the problem. Think they are using TCase instead of TJMax. WHich is dumb.

whatever there using you can hit core temp of 80c and there temperature reading is still around 60c its something to watch out for if using there fan control software as there preset profiles won't hit 100% fan speed until 70c-75c on there reading, I reckon your cpu would be throttling by then

Well TCase CAN be 20C behind Core temp. So not surprising.
Not saying you should use it, just trying to figure out their method...

When I fix my Chemistry Honors grade...

I'll try to update when the workload dies down. I will most likely update October 14th or maybe even sooner. But my focus currently is school work and that priority will not change. Again, sorry guys for delaying the chart updating.

Well, here I am again!

I updated my rig with a new processor. I had the luck to change my processor with a couple of bucks more and grab a new i5 3570k

Here are my results

http://valid.canardpc.com/3j5rcn

Mobo> Asrock z68 Extreme7 Gen3
RAM> Corsair vengeance 8Gb 1330mhz cl9 (im too lazy to overclock them, but actually im having troubles with my mobo and its slots)
Processor> I5 3570k @ 4.5 ghz 1.23 vcore
GPU> HD6950 2gb @900mhz
Custom watercooling set up, single 120mm rad + 240mm. CPU + GPU in the same loop.

This how it look so far.

School is much more important!

Best to you amuffin! Ryan

Most of ATI's income was from "low end" integrated graphics, after AMD purchased ATI, I did not see a slow down of the desire for low end onboard graphics sector profit.

Of course, that is changing, as referred to in my post above.

i want to get to 5.0, but seems like it gets exponentially difficult with these six core IB chips after 4.7. anyone else have any ideas?
