Hello all. I am on an ethernet wired computer running a 2800x, 32 GB Ram and a 1080 GPU. I Intermittently run into ping spikes at random intervals, sometimes multiple times a minute, sometimes once every 5 minutes. When I ping google I find the results line up with when I experience these issues. All drivers are updated, ISP said its nothing on their end. Used different cables, used an ethernet adaptor. I'm not sure what else I am able to do. I can barely talk on Discord because multiple times a minute the calls just cut out. I am using Nextlink Internet, a Tower based Internet service.

Here is what this looks like: Any ideas would be appreciated to fix this so that I can game again.

I cannot connect directly to Modem. Computer states it doesn't get an IP Address from it. ISP also told me I can't do that for some reason.

I will connect another PC and be back with the results.

Run tracert and get the hops in the path.

Run constant ping to hop 1 your router and hop 2 the ISP router. If you see issues to your router it is something inside your house. If you see no problems in hop 1 but hop 2 has issues then there is a problem with the connection to your house. Check your wiring but it is normally outside your house. Show the ISP these 2 pings. You want to run them both at the same time so they will admit it is something past your router.

Here is what tracert found:

This video also contains me pinging my router, ISP, and google.com at the same time. It shows that there are no problems on the way to my router. I sent this video to my ISP. Thank you for the suggestions. I will update this thread once I discuss what my ISP tells me. But please if yall have any more ideas post them.
