[citation][nom]filmman03[/nom]i curse, why are you upset about it? get over it.1.
http://techcrunch.com/2012/09/12/a [...] ice-to-99/ - Apple is dropping the price of the 4 and 4s, like they always have done when they release a "new" version of their phone.2. unlocking the phone from ATT obviously was free, and doing it yourself is free so thinking that you are smart by selling it for more b/c it is now unlocked isn't going to get additional buyers, especially buyers who are willing to pay that much.3. the going rate of what is out there and the actual success of that price are very different. 4. do me a favor, email some of those ppl who are selling it for the same price as you are and see what they have been offered or what they have agreed to sell it for.5. my guess is you will be getting no more than $400 for it. decent yes; but not what you think its worth.6. my head isn't hot, so it doesn't need to be cooled, but thanks for your concern.7. understand that this market changes quickly and realize that your potential for getting $450 is highly unlikely, as there are so many others, as you mentioned, that are selling it for the same price and are probably in better condition than yours.8. what you shoulda done was either sell it for $500 and allow for it to be dropped to $450 or went below $450 and sucked it up.9. again, 4 offers and 0 buys. plus you never mentioned the actual offers of what ppl agreed too[/citation]
1. Let me get this straight, first it's all cursing but you're not hot headed, "POS" and "sh*t" are common language you use when writing people? Aside from concerned, speaking to people like that is rude. We all come to the forums to discuss like adults.
2. Now your giving me advice on how to negotiate the best price on my iPhone? Thanks, but respectfully, no. I sold my 3G two years ago for $275 cash on CL. I think I got this. If the price drops, Great, I'll get a little less but in the grand scheme of things, it will pay for my new iPhone 5 32GB ($299).
3. I had 4 offers - $450, 450, 430, and 300. I'll finalize on Friday - I had another bite in the time so make that 5 bites.
4. Lastly, and most importantly - Please show me one Android phone that has that kind of resale value after 2 years of use? I would recommend it to my friends who want to purchase Android over Apple.
Cheers!
