1. Let me get this straight, first it's all cursing but you're not hot headed, "POS" and "sh*t" are common language you use when writing people? Aside from concerned, speaking to people like that is rude. We all come to the forums to discuss like adults.

2. Now your giving me advice on how to negotiate the best price on my iPhone? Thanks, but respectfully, no. I sold my 3G two years ago for $275 cash on CL. I think I got this. If the price drops, Great, I'll get a little less but in the grand scheme of things, it will pay for my new iPhone 5 32GB ($299).

3. I had 4 offers - $450, 450, 430, and 300. I'll finalize on Friday - I had another bite in the time so make that 5 bites.

4. Lastly, and most importantly - Please show me one Android phone that has that kind of resale value after 2 years of use? I would recommend it to my friends who want to purchase Android over Apple.

I was afraid of that as well - Let's hope it looks better in the hand. The Galaxy S III has a larger screen that's wider as well as longer. It's a bit big for my hand but I like the increased space for icons/texts.
 
On iPhone5 launch day, a street reporter tricked some people into trying his "new" iPhone5 and most people felt like it was "much better then the previous model" even though the street reporter was actually making them try an iPhone4.

Quite funny/sad.

Seriously though, why would you pre-order a product without even having used it or gotten a review on it first? People are really stupid...
 
I just find it funny how everything new they bring out is 'magical' or the 'best looking yet'

It's a phone, it does phone related things...
 
ughhh.... iHaters hatin on the iSheep. Maybe some of us DONT WANT all those customizable options in a phone...

Either way, you have to admit it is impressive that apple by their lonesome is still running just behind all other phone manufacturers combined.

why hate?...most likely you can't afford one anyways, therefore you are stuck with your POS android phone....can't wait for my phone....yes i am one of those so called apple sheep that will own a smartphone that set the bar for all companies to follow....remember when iphone was the first smartphone on the market?...no one had anything that even resembled a smartphone...it's a fact....APPLE is the best when it comes to the smartphone market...half the time maps on google never works, don't even get me started with all the bloatware present on most android phones.

It's a disturbing trend amongst the poorly educated: celebrating ignorance gets all the reward. So they read something ignorant or childish about a product it's popular to dislike, and they repeat what they learned from others.
 
If all Android phones had had the Moto Razr's build quality I'd feel much better about them. There's enough complexity in the world, I don't desire to customize every aspect of my phone...I prefer iOS' intuitive simplicity. ...but to each their own. I may be a sheep, but I'm the black sheep of the family.

Relax dude, it's a phone. You hate(?) a phone that you have never used, and think people are mentally challenged because they choose to buy a phone that you don't like? Might want to look in the mirror.

And no, I was not one of the 2 million preorders. In fact, I just got a Galaxy S3 a few days ago, but I don't need to be an Apple fan to see you have issues getting so riled up over a cell phone.
 
Can't knock the iPhone over how it just works or interface, my biggest grip is that they don't have a microSD slot on a HIGH END phone. And there is no simple way to put an extended battery in the thing, I like my smartphones but I also like being able to use them without being tethered to a phone charger and a wall.
 
I guess I'm thankful I got my preorder in Friday morning with Verizon. This will be my first iPhone - I have had an Android (Droid X) for two years, and I am ready for a change. I know my Droid is "old", but I have app problems CONSTANTLY. Either my email quits syncing, camera app crashes, etc. No "iSheep" fanboy crap, I happen to like the look, and it has the features that matter to me.

The iPhone was not the first smart phone on the market. It was the first from Apple that was sold en mass to general consumers. Also, there were many phones that had a smart phone form factor (both dumb and pre-iPhone smart phones had several models like that). Apple wasn't even the best, they were simply the first throw at the general populace instead of primarily professional customers. I'm not trying to down-play Apple's success, but seriously, you should stop spreading lies.

It's like watching a 4x3 program on a 16x9 screen. What good is the extra size if the apps don't fill the screen. That being said, maybe app developers will provide a update for the different format. BTW, 5 out of my 7 friends that won't be buying the new iphone buy everything that apple comes out with. That might be saying something. They were even big fans of ping.
