History: in the post-Geforce4 era, Visiontek went into receivership due to
improper account practices. Visiontek was purchased by the Hartford Group
and has since switched to ATi-based cards. The exiled Visiontek execs then
founded BFG.

On the other hand, Visiontek cards were pretty solid. They even offered a
lifetime warranty, just like BFG cards today.

I have a BFG 5900XT - Purchased in May of 2004.

When I opened the box, one of the memory heat sinks fell off.

Yesterday, the coolin fan died. Forutunately, I had a Thermolake VGA
cooler and some Arctic Silver epoxy so I could get it working again.

The card itself has worked flawlessly, but there is some indication of
shoddy workmanship.
