Question Is it possible to use dell precision M6800 motherboard with a screen of different size?

Hi, I have a dell precision M6800 motherboard with core i7 4800qm and nvidia 970m (recycled from an old laptop, but in fully functioning condition).. and it has eDP connector. Now I am trying to make use of it.

Will this motherboard support this below mentioned 14" screen? (eDP).

( I have mentioned this screen because I have this one. And I personally want a smaller screen in the pre-built case of my diy project than oem 17" screen.

So if any other 14"/15.6" FHD IPS panel can be paired with this motherboard, please let me know.)

Looks like the Dell uses a 40-pin display (see below). So, in theory, you should be able to use a smaller display that uses the same connector.
