Hi. As far as i know, my CPU, AMD A4-9120e, is locked and it can not be overlooked.

When I open Windows Task Manager and go to Performance, it shows that the base speed is 1.50Ghz (Base speed: 1.50 GHz). However, the CPU's speed can be below or above 1.50 GHz. If I leave the system idle, it may go below 1.50. But when used, it can go to 2.50 GHz.

How is this possible, how can it have 2.50 GHz, if the CPU is not overclocked? Does this cause overheat or damage to the CPU?

its auto boost from the device itself, it's safe.
