Is my specs compatible with 1080 video cards?

I'm looking to upgrade my video card to play games, I don't know if I should upgrade my motherboard as well when I want to use a high end video cards like 1080.

Here are my specs

MB: Asus B85M Gamer
16 GB RAM DDR3
i7 4790k Processor

Is it better to invest in processor first ? I have enough cash to upgrade one of my specs but I don't know which one should I upgrade first, I want to upgrade them consistently and balance overtime.

You practically already have best processor for that platform (which is dead now) and would have to build whole new system to get any appreciable boost.
On the other hand, you can build new system later on and still use that GPU which should be good for few years to come.
1060 is as high as I would go with what you have now.

I currently have 1050Ti 4GB.

What do you mean by whole system ? Motherboard and processor ?

Yes, MB, CPU and RAM because newer systems use DDR4. Also check your PSU, it may not be good enough or have connectors for stronger GPUs.
