I was looking at getting my first SSD so i was looking at the 500gb SATA 860 Evo but noticed that (at least in Sweden) the intel 660p NVME drive is cheaper, and after looking at some reviews it isn't the fastest NVME drive in the world but its obviously faster then the 860 Evo and that it only has 100 TBW but that wouldn't be a problem if I was only gonna use it as a boot drive with maybe a game or two, right? is there some downside I am missing I don't wanna waste money to find out i missed something massive.

I'd get the Samsung drive or see if you can get the 970 Evo Plus which should be close to the 860's pricing.
Ok, but why? what advantage does it have? The Samsung 860 is 10 bucks more expensive and the 970 is 50 bucks more, wouldn't getting the 660p be better? its both cheaper and NVME. sorry, if I'm missing something obvious
