Hi guys recently bought the Asus ROG Strix x570-E gaming mb (installed a Ryzen 7 3700X fyi) I asked the guy about water cooling and he suggested the thermaltake water 3.0 now that fits my thermaltake case but the sockets don't match up with my amd mb. Did he accidentally give me the wrong socket version or do they only make this particular cooler for Intel? Sorry if this seems noob I haven't built a PC with water cooling before..

It fits, its just does it different......you dont need to put in brackets underneath and screw into them, Instead you put the AMD attachment to the pump head and attach it to one end and the push the other down and slide the hook over and use the thumb screw
Go and have a look at the manual on thermaltakes website and they show how it happens
