do I need dual channel ram and hw much ram should i take, which psu would i need for this build and do i need a sound card?

8gb memory? For a high end build you'll want 2x8gb @2666mhz (speed for Intel doesn't make a big difference so if it's cheaper then 3000/3200mhz kits then that's what I'd grab).

As for the audio the onboard audio is quite good, try it first before considering a sound card.
