Motherboard: Asus ROG MAXIMUS IX HERO
CPU: Intel i7-7700k
RAM: 64 GB

Hey, I've just checked my Samsung 970 Evo 500GB SSD drive speeds and it's looks like drive is terribly slow. What can I do to speed it up?

It's looking like write speed is capped at 700MB/s

I've installed SSD in M2_2 (this is screen from motherboard manual):

Not all M.2 slots are the same... You have to understand that your SSD and motherboard are M.2 SATA types, not M.2 NVMe ports. As such, the performace will be a lot slower than NVMe SSDs (~600MB/s) which are up to six times faster (~3500MB/s)...

both the motherboard and ssd is pcie
if you look at the first post, his read is about correct, just the write is slow.
