Good day!
So about a moth ago I put together my first very own desktop. Everything was looking fine until I updated Adrenaline 2020 to version 20.2.2. Now at that point stuff started happening. My games would suddenly crash causing my whole pc to freeze. I checked that all my other drivers are up to date (wich they were, only change was to the Adrenalin), reset the pc and now I would get no display output after the windows startup at all. I was sure that the gpu driver was an issue, so I booted in safemode, DDU it and installed the 19.12.2 version back but yet again, no signal. I tried DDU again, reset wintout the damn Adrenalin but now I just got blue screen error message on startup, I can't remember the exact error code but It was something with windows boot process...
Autorepair would't work. At that point I grabbed a USB repair tool, installed clean Windows, downloaded back the essential drivers, restarted and yet again blue screen error. I reinstalled Windows again, restarted pc wihtout touching anything, history repeating. Now I tried reformatting my ssd before windows install, blue screen strikes again. As my last move I tried flashing Bios via ethernet to the slightly newer version, cleaned my ssd and reinstalled Windows again but this time I got an invalid boot device error.
And that's where I am now... I tried a windows install one more time but the pc crashed before I've finished the feature survey
Now, I'm still pretty new into pc building. First I thought something was up with the gpu drivers, maybe the card itself but with the booting problems my shot is that the ssd is failing (possibly causing driver issues) but I could be completely off point. That said I'm open to any ideas/suggestions or criticism if I did some major screwup, I just want to be sure about what's going on before I go get a new ssd.
system specs:
Asus Prime B450M-K
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Sapphire Nitro rx590 8GD5
HyperX 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Predator series
Kingston A400 240GB 7mm SSD
WD Blue 2TB HDD
Gigabyte G750H 80+ gold
Thanks!
