Well, incase you didn't know (and I'm sure that you do) The K6-2+ 500 was intended to be a mobile CPU. Only a very very small # were distributed w/o being preinstalled in some sort of laptop. I have tried countless computer stores, as well as a few PC expos, and 1/2 the people i talk to have never heard of it. and the other half tell me i'm insane for even trying... Beats me. It would be alot of fun to crank up a socket 7 setup to 700mhz, but I have completely given up my search for one because i believe that if i ever DID find one, whoever had it to sell would wring me price wise.
