I have started using OBS for recording my CSGO clips as It's a nice free software with many great features.

I had been using ShadowPlay recorder and had smooth output without any fps drop in game
the only reason i stopped using it was that it couldn't save the records into a single file if it's more than 3.8GB due to Windows 7 restrictions.

I set OBS to record at 60FPS@1920*1080 with Nvenc_H264 encoder with variable Bittrate mode and avg bitrate set to 40000KB keyframe to 1 , B-frames to 4 , and preset to Low-latency and profile to high.

So a whole CSGO match would get around 15GB

My CSGO FPS is locked at 144Fps and With this OBS settings running sometimes in game i get to something like 125-135 but most of the times it's OK and fixed at 144

The problem is i get a laggy video It's not that recognizable but it's not smooth as ShadowPlay at all i have plaid with settings a lot but the same results i got.

The Quality is quiet Good but it;s not smooth i have tried X264, Nvenc_hevc, X265 but all the same and even worse.

My PC specs :
GTX 1080
Core-i7 6700K
16GB 2400Mhz

Sorry for Poor English

What are your settings in obs?
You might lack bitrate.
No the quality is pretty good it's looks like it's recorded at 15frame in scenes that objects move fast but everything is OK at the whole video
i'm using Nvenc(H264) encoder with VBR mode and Avg bitrate set to 40000 KB/s and max bitrate set to 60000
Profile : high preset: Low latency Max b-Frame : 4 keyframe : 1
