Question Laptop uses Integrated Graphics instead of Dedicated GPU

So basically everytime i turn off integrated graphics so that i could use my rtx 4050 only, it would set me back to 60hz without letting me putting it to 144hz it just sets my display to microsoft display adapter which is really annoying i want to use my rtx 4050 only not no igpu.

You've tagged this thread with MSI and notebook, might want to pass on the exact model to your laptop, an SKU will help two fold.

As for the laptops that have entry level GPU's, they tend to have their display being passed through the iGPU.

as Colif said, you laptops GPU makes the frames and passes them though the iGPU. since your laptop doesn't have a MUX switch, you can't do this. It has to go through the iGPU.
