Question Logi Capture software will not launch

I have a logitech 922 pro webcam and im running windows 8.1. When i plugged the camera in initially about a week ago windows detected it and the software automatically installed and everything worked.
Now logi capture, (the software that comes with the webcam) will not launch. I click on it and the mouse wheel flashes for an instant and then the program never launches.
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, and i tried a slightly older version of the software.
I also already tried uninstalling the camera from device manager. This did not work either.
The camera works, i can use the camera in sykpe. But i cannot use the logi capture software, which i assume has tools in it to record video, capture images, edit and other things and i want to use those things now.
So does anyone know what else i can try to fix this? Or suggest other software?

Yes i did get it from their website, numerous times. Its okay, i found cyberlink and it works and does what i need. i forgot about it.
