Hello.

I have just upgraded my rig and everything seems to be working fine. One problem, my M.2 (Team Group MS30 SSP 128gb) Is not being detected in my computer.

Before I continue, I would like to state that I have spent a decent amount of time finding a solution. Checked this forum and other forums as well but most of them only talks about NVME or something other issue that does really match my problem.

I have placed the M.2 on the first m.2 slot on my motherboard. According ot the manual and online guides this is where it should be. [MSI MORTAR MAX B450m]

  1. My M.2 can be seen in Device manager, BIOS and as a Storage tool.
  2. My M.2 Cannot be seen on my computer nor I cannot access it, format it and remove it (from storage pool) --- I also cannot see it on Disk Manager.
  3. I tried the 2nd M.2 slot on my motherboard but that just makes in undetectable anywhere.
  4. I have also tried moving my SATA cables. As of now, there is nothing connected to SATA 1. My SSD which is on SATA 3 is where my OS is installed.
  5. I would like to install a game on my M.2
  6. Just to clarity im not installing/booting for windows or anything (most articles online is about that) I already have Win 10 up and running, I just really want to use my M.2
Please help, I have opened and close, removed and unscrewed my rig countless times today because Ryzen does not have IGPU so, gotta remove my gpu every time. I even made the mistake of disable CMS to activate UEFI. (big mistakes) that took me another hour to figure out. Turned out I just needed to reset my cmos.
Anyway, thank you for your advice.

Update:

Sorry for the long post.

The problem is solved. It was being used as a "pool storage".
after removing it from there, it has now appeared in Disk Management and now can be used.

Forgive my ignorance ty nonetheless!
