Question max boost for cpu? Have to set it up?

Basic question, a new ryzen 5 2600x is running well, but how do I know the max boost frequency is in effect. I didn't see anything in bios about 4.2 Ghz only 3.6..I also checked system under control panel because I thought it would show regular frequency as well as the boost frequency but boost frequency wasn't shown..

and just for clarification I am using cpu-z to check stats on system and under memory its showing
nb frequency as 1496 MHz and it is in dual channel, so I believe this is running at the 3000 mzh its supposed to, yes? memory is ddr4 16 gigs (8x2) at 3000 mhz

Exactly correct on the memory.

As for setting.max boost it handles that by itself. Nothing to set there as long as precision boost is active

is precision boost active by default?

also, playing cod ww2 game did freeze for about 10 to 15 seconds is this a sign of instability you think?

Could be instability, or could have been something updating in the background on a new build.

can you look at idle temps and load percentages for cpu in the picture? are they normal? using stock cooler
