So I've been updating my bios for the past couple of hours in order to install a ryzen 7 3700x. On a previous forum post people were telling me to download updates for the bios in order to avoid bricking, so thats what I've been doing. Looks like I missed some crucial information:

Basically it says: "2. Before update BIOS to F40, you have to install EC FW Update Tool (B19.0606.1 or later version) to avoid 4DIMM DDR compatibility on 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen™ CPU". It said this on update f40 and I already have f41 installed. Am I ok or do I need to do something? Something to note is that it doesn't have this in the description of more current updates. The most current update listed is f50a and the description says "Before update BIOS to F40 or later version, make sure you have prior updated to F31."
Edit: for further clarification I have not downloaded the EC FW Update Tool yet
The motherboard I'm currently using is:
GA-AB350-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.x)
