Question Microsoft default apps can't update/not working need help

So me and a friend of mine have recently bought the same new gaming desktop and it all was going great until I wanted to download something from the Microsoft store. Since launch, I've gotten this error being unable to download anything even after clicking "skip for now". I went to check my friend's PC and it was completely fine so it's just my PC having the issue. Later on, I felt like trying some other Microsoft apps and turned out to have the same problem. I've searched on the internet for solutions but I only find unrelated issues so that leaves me to asking for help. I have updated every windows update except for the preview. Any help is appreciated.
 
what version of windows? it is legit?
It is windows 11 and it is legit, I bought this PC from Costco.

These are the updates I've done:

2023-11 Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5033204)

2024-02 Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5036212)

And a lot of driver and security updates that I'll share if needed.

The objective being to find and identify any error codes, warnings, or even informational events related to the update failures and/or Microsoft Store.

Start with Reliability History. Much more end user friendly and the timeline format may reveal some pattern.

Okay, I found lots of errors, many of which are service run attempt failures, but one I noticed seems to be related to my computer.

Before doing anything, try to learn more about the .exe and .dll

You may read or note some other information related to the problem(s).

Look in Update History for any failed or problem updates.

Could very well be a corruption problem that also affects Windows ability to find and fix corrupted files.

Which would likely leave you with needing to download Windows 11 Installation media as suggested by @NedSmelly.

I had a similar problem on my PC a while ago and tried the usual tips - reinstalling Store, DISM, etc etc. Only thing that worked was to download Windows 11 installation media and apply a full OS ‘Upgrade’ with it. See this thread.
This is what I just attempted to do and windows 11 seems to be running good so far. Thank you for the suggestion!
