Hello,
I've had this problem with my PC ever since I got this monitor. When I first startup my PC the monitor just shows "Cable not connected", this doesn't go away until the windows login screen shows up. This is the only monitor I've found that has this problem with my PC. I have used a secondary monitor and a small portable monitor which both show the BIOS screen just fine. No idea what might be causing this issue, all help would be greatly appreciated!
I've tried a lot of different things including:
Monitor: Acer ED242QR
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 570
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
Storage: Samsung 970 EVO (GPT not MBR)

I've tried a lot of different things including:
- Reading numerous posts (many which were solved)
- Different HDMI cables (monitor supports either VGA or HDMI)
- Using the Motherboard HDMI slot
- Changing "Fast Boot" in BIOS (on, ultra fast, and off didn't work)
- Changing "Storage Boot Option Control" in BIOS (from legacy to UEFI then off)
- Changing "Other PCI Device ROM Priority" in BIOS (from UEFI to off)
- Probably some other things that I forgot (I've been working on this for several months)
