I've tried 4 different "free" editing software, but all of them have some annoying paywall.
  • Filmora adds a watermark on exported files, which takes up like almost half the screen.
  • Lighhtworks limits the resolution to 720p
  • Davinci Resolve has some super weird thing where it'll only accept MP4s with very specific codecs, so I'm forced to then look for free video converters. Some I found only convert a short amount of time per file (like 3min).
  • I've tried the new Windows Movie Maker for windows 10, it's a hot steaming pile of garbage, impossible to use and seems to be missing 99% of the features the original had.
All I need is to cut up a long (~3h) 1080p video, and speed up some parts to make timelapses in-between the important parts. I'm not planning on using the videos for commercial purposes.
