I bought a Lenovo Ideapad 3i, and i like to have a 256GB SD card inserted into my laptop that acts as "permanent" storage so that I can keep my work on an encrypted removable device, even though it is almost never removed. It's a bit idiosyncratic but it's what I like. Anyway, the Ideapad has a small slot for SD, causing the card to stick out 2/3s of the way. Is it possible to replace the stock reader with one of the deeper ones that have the click-in-place lock? Or, less elegantly, is it possible to simple move the reader back a few cm? I am new to customizing/upgrading hardware. I apologize for any lack of understanding that may seem obvious.
