Hello guys, I have a question about upgrading to Windows 11,
Since it released, I felt that my PC is going to lose performance on Win11 because its more recourse demanding than Win10. I need the PC performance to play competitive games on 1440p 120FPS.
So should I move to Win11 with these specs or should I stay on Win10 that will stop getting supported soon, considering that I will stay with this build for 2,3 more years?

My build is:
i7 9700k
RTX 2070 Super
16GB RAM DDR4
Asus TUF Z390
500GB SSD SATA (OS)
1TB SSD M.2
1TB HDD
NZXT Kraken X63
Corsair 650W Bronze

I can provide further info if needed.
Thanks in advance,

If your hardware supports it officially, why not migrate to Windows 11?

As a precursor, after you upgrade to Windows 11 using the internal upgrade path, you should format and reinstall the OS after creating a bootable USB installer for Windows 11 to rule out any OS corruption when you undergo the OS upgrade path. make sure your BIOS is on the latest version. If you do have BIOS versions pending update, flash to the latest, then clear the CMOS, then upgrade to Windows 11, then reinstall the OS in offline mode.

Corsair 650W Bronze
Corsair is the brand of the unit while 650W is the advertised wattage of the unit, what is the model of the unit and it's age?

I actually appreciate W11 memory management much more.

There were some content creators early on that were calling certain limitations and I think perhaps that was more related to AMD. As far as I know that is no longer an issue. It really isn't so much different as to be groundbreaking. A whole lot of the same in different places.

If anything, I noticed a performance boost after I upgraded to 11. And I didn't reinstall it. If it works as well as before the update, no need to do this, unless you have nothing else than games on your PC and reinstalling is thus not a big deal.
