[SOLVED] Msi Gv62 8RE laptop black screen

Just happened today whenever I go to turn on my laptop the screen stays black. I know laptops working because keyboard lights up and fans keep spinning. I haven't tried plugging into another screen yet as I don't have access to one. If anyone has any fixes I can do in the mean time thatd be useful

Remove the laptop cell battery, and press power button to draw the power too. After that, connect the battery, boot the laptop to see what happens.

Was able to get a spare screen to connect it to laptops working perfectly fine other than the screen on the laptop not working. It occasionally has the far right light up white for a minute before going black again

Possibly the backlight has gone out. If you are brave, you can usually find these on ebay (or a similar site) and replace for a pretty low price.
