Hi everyone,

Not sure, but, there is a contradiction between the review and specs of this PSU in MSI's official site. The fan type reviewed by Aris about 15 months ago is DBB, however, MSI says it is FDB.
Maybe this is not an important issue by itself, but, throws doubt on the validity of other parts, specially the internal parts such as caps, ICs, etc.
This might be a normal routine. Actually, I think can a manufacturer (don't mean MSI) degrade any component of a PC part after collecting positive points from reviews.

There have been numerous examples of manufacturers of any sort of hardware swapping parts around after it's been out for a while. The most recent case I can recall that went around for a while were SSDs manufacturers swapping out controllers due to chip shortages.

I want to say there may have been an example of a PSU manufacturer changing parts after the initial run, mostly around how 80PLUS only requires certification for a new "model" rather than an actual product SKU. I'm not sure how the other certifications require testing if a SKU changes (or if the manufacturers even care)

But I don't really think a change in fans is anything to be worried about.
