Hi all.

I am planning a new build at some point, I am planning on using a gigabyte X570 Aorus Master mobo with an MSI gaming x trio 2080ti. I am also planning to use an elgato 4k60 pro mk2 alongisde my existing HD60 pro. Due to the pcie slots on the mobo the 4k60 is going to be slotted in the x1 slot, but the hd60 is going to be in the bottom full length pcie slot. i was just wondering if having it like this will affect gpu performance.

Thanks in advance

Badly.

Solution
Since the CPU handles the PCIe of the x16 slot where you are planning to install the GPU and the other slots being chipset controlled, there shouldn´t be an impact at all.

You will have to plug in the 4k60 into the x16 (x4) and the HD60 pro into the x1 slot.
