Multiple processors

Hello,
purchased HP Pavilion dv7t notebook with i5-580M dual core. Device manager shows 4 i5-580M processors. Why?

it is dual core with hyperthreading?

That's because dual core i5s have hyper-threading, allowing it to do two threads per core. To the Operating System, it looks like 4 cores, though it's not as fast as four separate cores without hyper threading.
