Question My available memory is less than total memory

I have 8GB of RAM installed. My total physical RAM is 7.80 (I am aware of this) but the available physical memory is less than 4GB. Can someone help?

it mean 4+GB is being used.

If nothing else is running, then it is typically System Reserved memory.

Could just be in use, 8GB can be gobbled up easily on Windows 10, what does Task Manager tell you? I assume your running a 64-bit OS, 32-bit can't address more than 4GB.

in the task manager it shows that 201mb of memory is for hardware reserve
