Question My computer is underperfoming i think

My pc specs: Cpu : i7-4790K
Gpu : GTX 1070ti
Ram : 12 GB
Motherboard : GA-H87-HD3
Psu : Bequiet 630W
HDD : Barcuda 2TB
SSD : 256GB ( OS )
It came to my attention that in a lot of games i have around 100 fps and even if i lower graphics they dont go any higher.Temps are good what could it be?

What resolution?
Give an example?
Many games won't go above 100 fps with a 1070 Ti.
Some games won't even hit 60 on ultra at 1080p.
