My liquid cooler pump wasnt working for almost 1 and a half year but i didnt care i had an important exam but a week ago when i turned my pc on i heard a strange noise and found out that its the liquid cooler pump working.

Solution
Rotate the orientation of the radiator. Have the tubes come from under the fans as opposed to having the tubes above the fans. You're only feeding air to the pump which can explains the noise you're hearing.

You will need to elaborate on what you've heard since strange doesn't help narrow anything down. Did you hear sloshing of liquid inside the AIO's tube/pump area? Also, if the pump wasn't working, didn't you get any thermal issues or failure messages while on your system, if it was powered up(and running) for the past 1.5 years?

Make and model of your AIO and it's orientation? Might want to include a picture of the layout of your system. Host your image(s) on Imgur and then parse a link here for us to see.

This sums up what's going on in my head right now...

Yeah, i did get thermal issues and was using my pc at 100 C so 1.5 GHz CPU instead of 4.2 but it was enough cuz i had an exam anyway, i tried some things like reapplying the AIO cooler then plugging it in the CPU fan instead of system fan or pump fan but nothing fixed it. Last time it was plugged at the system fan so i changed it to CPU fan then i gave up. Oh and i was always hearing a liquid sloshing when the pc was booting up but pumps were 0 RPM. When the pumps started working they were sounding so loud and it still is.

So actually i am happy because my pump is working suddenly (it wasnt working until i booted it up yesterday). I was so confused but happy when i saw my cpu cool and realised that the strange noise was coming from my AIO cooler pump
Here is the sound:

And my system: https://imguh.com/image/ZYiRq (couldnt upload on imgur sorry) It is possible that you didnt hear about my AIO cooler brand because its exclusive to here I think.
