I know this problem has been pointed out a few times, and that there isn't much of difference between x4 and x16, but it's something that really bothers me.

I tried reseating the gpu, blow the dust (compressed air), updated the bios, drivers, bios settings but nothing worked.

Specs.
R5 1600
Rx 6500 xt itx
16Gb 2400mhz
Ga-b450m-s2h rev 1.x
700W PSU

gpu-z doesn't change when using the render test (i can't insert image for some reason)

and i get same reading in the amd software.

I don't have an other pcie device installed or m.2 ssd, the gpu is installed in the correct slot (the only slot there is).

I tried running heaven benchmark and got nothing.

Power saving mode is disabled in the bios.

I can't set the x4/x8/x16 things in the bios except the generation which i set to gen 3.

please help :>

Solution
Rx 6500 xt itx
6500 XT is a PCIe 4.0 card and has only an x4 PCIe bus. That means no matter what slot you plug it into, from x4 wired to x16 wired, it will always be limited it to x4 PCIe lanes. You will lose performance on PCIe 3.0 and earlier generations of PCIe. This is was brought up by countless people online when the card was released.
