well first i'm going to say you have great taste. i only want to show you your other options, i'm not saying anything you have chosen is bad.

as far as the case goes these <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=7&manufactory=1333&DEPA=1" target="_new">http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=7&manufactory=1333&DEPA=1</A> are nice too. you can click on <i>see it</i> to check them out.

this <A HREF="http://www.essencompu.com/nupplysingar.asp?ID=1383" target="_new">http://www.essencompu.com/nupplysingar.asp?ID=1383</A> is newer and faster technology for a motherboard so it should last longer. try to get crucial ecc memory for performance and stability. the sony GDM class are very nice monitors for what you have in mined. what about your HDD?

I have a couple IBM, I have GXP 20g and it works fine 1 month, thought I'm not sure if my older one works better or not. But, if you check out CNet you might not want it. With over half complaining about crashes, especially at 40g or over.

btw...kudos with the dvd drive...samsung makes unusually reliable drives (even though i dont really like samsung)

I don't claim to know anything about everything, I just tell people what I know.

The ibm 60gxp is the NEWEST model, newer than the 75gxp, which had some reliability issues, the 60gxp is super fast and stable. Get the 60gxp 40 or 60 gig.

check out the Antec SX1040B SOHO file server case comes with a 400watt power supply. I have the case and it rocks! you will like it a lot.

check out that abit board the guy was talkin about and the ga-7dxr's are nice too. I have one. To be frank i really like the gigabyte board then any others i've had.

as for sound card, why not the audigy platinum?

samsung drives i actualy heard was the worst i don't know though. From everyone around here i hear the pioneer drive is good. i don't know if it uses samsung parts or not *shrugs*

for hard drive get the 60GXP... the 75GXP is undergoing a class action lawsuit for it's nature of being defective. so stay away from that drive.

other then that that's a rockin system :)
