NEC LCD1765 Power Problems

So I go to turn on my monitor today (NEC LCD1765NX) and when I tough the power button, I get shocked...

So I push the power button, nothing happens.... the thing is dead......

The ac adapter led is showing it has power, but the monitor power led isn't doing anything, and neither is pushing the power button.....

wtf gives?

This happened once before a few months ago, I ended up sending it back to NEC to fix.... and apparently it was for the last 6 months or so, unless they gave me a new monitor then it crapped out....

Either way, I'm out of warranty, have no clue what to do, any thoughts...?

Yes go to your local best buy buy a 1765 nec
switch the id tags and stickers (use a fan to remove the stickers)
Then go back to best buy return the broken one and you got the new one
Just tell them it was a gift and you were supposed to get a 19 inch or something like that
Or....
Call Nec complain your ass of get em real pissed tell em you want their names tell em your gonna right bad review Tell em you wanna speak to their suppervisor

Wait doesnt nec have a 3 year pollicy
You should still be able to send it back
