So as stated in the title I’m planning on building a new pc and I’m looking for some advice on some of the components.
On some of the components my decision isn’t final, such as the cpu/power supply/motherboard

Here’s the build
And the budget is about £1,500 and I’m in the uk.

Cpu: I’m thinking ryzen 7 7800x3d (this is one of the items i would like advice on if there’s anything more appropriate)
Gpu: either a 4070 or a amd 7800xt (I’m leaning more toward the AMD 7800xt due to price)
Ram: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo EXPO RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz
Motherboard: this is one of the items I need help deciding on
Case: NZXT H6 Flow RGB
CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken 280 RGB, (I might get a relatively cheap one just for now due to cost)
Os drive 500gb WD blue ssd
Storage drive, 4tb hdd and many a 2tb m.2 drive later on like a Samsung 970 ego plus.
Psu: again one of the items I need help on, I just don’t know how to counculate the watts for that sort of thing, just as long a the rating is gold plus

Again just looking for some advice on these and how they might work with one another, I’m open to any suggestions.
The items I’m mostly concerned about are the psu/motherboard/cpu.

I appreciate your time and thank you,

Muddy.

best thing to do is give us a budget that your trying to hit main goals your trying to achieve gaming or streaming etc ?

4070 is a good card for performance per watt 4070 super is better though and usually isnt that wildly priced.

if your budget is tight consider the rx 6800 its a generation before but has loads of life in it.

overall i can put up a couple of builds just need to know exact cost

Budget is £1,500 and for usage the pc is mostly going to be used for gaming.

£1,500 I live in the U.K, and resolution is 1440p, maybe 4K but not necessary, just would be nice.
1440P.

An alternative Intel build. You lose the upgrade path of AM5, with the trade off being a much faster GPU.
