Sys 3 games don't use ROMS to set language

Check out the flowchart on page 11 and 12 of the manual.

Go into Game Adjustments, choose function for load factory defaults, then
choose English.

yes I agree & did all that, however I ran into the SAME thing with a
tee'd off as well as a freddy nightmare, would set it but no matter
WHAT it was in spanish!! changed the disp rom & what...english!! this
is from the same load so im SURE I need the diplay rom at least! these
came from voerseas, but in the past I did exactly what you said & it
worked!
