Hi after reading 200 reviews and doing a deep research about two laptops I want to know the toms hardware forum users opinion about that two mid-high range laptops.

I'm talking about the Asus Rog Strix Ryzen 6800h 16GB ddr5 and the 3060 with "140W" TDP:
https://estore.asus.com/es/90nr0845-m00190-portatil-gaming-rog-strix-g513rm-hq012.html

And the Lenovo Legion 5 2021 with a Ryzen 5800H 16GB ddr4 and the RTX 3070 at 130W:
https://www.pccomponentes.com/lenovo-legion-5-15ach6h-amd-ryzen-7-5800h-16-gb-512gb-ssd-rtx-3070-156

I trying to dicide what is the best overall and the most "future proof" for gaming.I bought both for the same price and must have to return one of two.

Some important things about both laptops:
-The asus is a 3060 140w but never achives the 140Watts... (https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthre...22-r7-6800h-rtx-3060-140w-gpu-wattage-problem) and have a 1440p monitor.

-And the Lenovo some times come with "bad rams" a R1x16 ( only 4 chips per stick and thats affects the performance of all system but its posible to change the ram for 60-80$ without losing the warranty).

Both screens ar good. The battery life its not important for me.
And I dont care about the storage... 512GB is enough for me and I dont need a webcam or mic.

Maybe the best in performace is the Lenovo legion because it have a 3070 at 130W... at 1080p...But its older. What do you think?

Please help me comunity. Thanks a lot :)

In the end the Asus will take you further, their build quality compared to Lenovo is far superior

If I had to pick I would say the Asus has the best build quality. The Lenovo Legion 5 is still good though, I don't think you'd have any complaints. I like the Zen 3 chip in the Asus and the 3070 in the Lenovo. Only thing that was of small concern was automatic graphics switching on the Lenovo. Not sure if it's been fixed on the modern units but wasn't the most reliable.

Thanks for your reply are you sure about the build quality? Thanks
Typing this on a Lenovo right now so nothing against them but I would expect the Asus to have the slightly better chassis. It's difficult to find in depth reviews on the latest model, but if it's the same chassis as last couple of years then the Asus is better. With that being said though, rtings gave it 8 out of 10 for build quality.
