Hello and thanks for reading! First of all I am a novice in PC hardware, with that out of the way; I have got my hands on a RTX 3090 and need to quickly decide on what to build around it. If any helpful minds could chime in, I would be super grateful.
(I already own a RTX 3090 so the 2000$ budget is for the remaining parts)
  • Build focus: 3D GPU Rendering (Octane renderer + Cinema 4D)
  • Form factor: whatever keeps it cooler and more silent, but ATX seems approachable. Build requirements:
  • rtx 3090 compatibility
  • minimum 2 x16 slots for 2 GPUS (over 2 slots is ok too)
  • minimum 2 slots for M2 SSDs (maybe go for 1tb and expand later?) (over 2 slots is ok too)
  • 128gb ram compatibility (maybe go for 64 and expand later?) should be DDR4 atleast
  • Stronger and less cores for CPU
  • Mobo doesnt need wifi, but should have RAID support
  • Location: Portugal, Europe
  • Budget: 2000$ (about 1700€)
Kinda lost with all the options out there, just want something reliable and expandable in the future (RAM, NVMe M2 SSD and GPU wise), let me know if you have any ideas!
Thanks in advance

Well, there's a lot of room for improvements, it's possible to water it down but I think the general idea is there for your workstation. Also, the cost of rams in your country are horrible.

You're gonna have to tweak that. OP said "Around 1700 Euros" 😛
