I'm looking for help as I am lost on what's going on. When I start the PC up its no post and on the q-led it shows the CPU and ram are there but I cant get into bios because the usb ports on the motherboard will not work and same with the old keyboard connection (the circle one) and still will not work. I'm putting this together for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. if anyone could give me some help ive looked on this site and tried different ram from this pc which is CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Intel XMP 2.0 Desktop Memory. ive tried clearing clearing cmos and taking everything apart to look for damage and pluging in thinks wrong. i could really use some help.

Thanks,
Nick Sorensen

my first guess would be the generic power supply.
90% of PC issues are a result of poor quality PSUs.

their rating and specs usually do not represent the actual quality.

some help finding a trustworthy model:

another thing is when I plugged the usb keyboard into the motherboard I herd a pop which sucks. I'm sending that PSU back and may have to send the motherboard in for repair or get a new one.

I think that's a low level video card, so you shouldn't need anywhere near a 750 watt PSU.

I'd look for a high quality unit circa 500 or 550 watts. You may not have any choice if you are returning it as they may just send you another just like the defective one.

Just a test.
Remove the gpu and plug the monitor into the mobo.
Use one stick of ram in the proper slot....see the manual.
