Hello, my brother was looking to upgrade to a 7800x3d and nxzt n7 b650e, when i made my pc I was stupid enough not to look at the qvl list and bought 16gb x 4 for an AMD motherboard (CMH64GX5M4B5600Z36) and not intel. I was going to eventually buy intel compatible ram (CMH64GX5M4B5600C36) and give the AMD version to him. I have heard they had instability issues at 4 sticks and wanted to know what they are and how they could be fixed.

As these DDR speeds get faster, stability is more difficult. At JEDEC or reasonable speeds 4 unmatched sticks should work and at high capacities. At higher speeds and tighter timings even a pair of dual channel kits from the same batch may not work together. All you can really do is try, and if it doesn't work try minor voltage increases and/or loosening the timings.
