Question Need to swap Boot SSD for a new SSD but use the old SSD as storage

So my computer has gotten a bit wonky so I backed up all my files and I plan on factory resetting my PC.
However I got a new 500gb 860evo SSD to use as a boot drive and want to use my previous boot drive as a storage drive along with my old HDD.
How can I do this if I want to wipe all my previous files?

Is it a desktop computer ?
If it is, just install new SSD, install OS on it, connect old drive and delete all partitions on it and format it.

Going to settings->recovery->reset which removes all files to return to factory settings.

But I've tried everything and my computer is still stuck on 800x600 with slow boot times and gpu drivers that won't download 🙁.

Does it work right when you boot from the HDD?

Do a fresh install. What make is your old SSD? most (not all) manufacturers have a toolkit where you can use to securely wipe the SSD by creating a bootable USB drive. Takes about a second to wipe it.
