I recently bought a new dual core intel e5200 to replace my old Pentium D processor. I hooked the fan and processor up properly, I've changed friends processors before, but since I put my new one in I am greeted to a blank screen. The BIOS does not start but the computer is whirring away. I tried putting my old processor back in but got the same result. Nothing I do will get my computer to boot again. There doesn't appear to be any damage to the sockets or anything and of course I followed proper installation procedures.

I have a 775XFire-eSATA2 mobo 4gb of ram 9600gt graphic card and that's all my specs I can remember. >.<
The mobo should be compatibe with the new processor, even if it wasn't my old should still work but won't....

Any ideas?

Ya it's the ASRock.... Dam well either way I can't get my old cpu to work. The BIOS doesn't start up so the only way I know of to reset it is to take out the small battery on the mobo and place it back in right? Any idea why my old working compatible cpu no longer works?
