Hey guys
I'm building a new desktop pc for development, coding, video editing, gaming, running few vm's including Ubuntu, macOs, android & couple light distributions, streaming 4k 60fps & a media server like Jellyfin for streaming on an android tv device, an android phone & an android tablet only on home network.
I'm coming from an old 3770k 16gb ddr3 msi z77 build.
Since I'm on a budget. I was looking for the best & most recent released option on sale based on price per performance ratio.
So I already got 12700k on sale for 330 bucks. Got kingston fury 16gb 2*8gb ddr5 bus 6000mhz intel xmp ready with KF560C40BBK2-16 part number for 173 bucks.
Still looking for motherboard. Need a mobo so I can enable turbo boost max technology 3 to get into 5ghz & moreover oc memory stick to pre-optimized 6000mhz cl40 xmp profile.
Need at least 6 sata 6gb, 2.5gb Lan & wifi 6. Pcie5 for future proof. So stuck between few z690 options. Which one of these mobos Should I go for? msi z690 pro wifi ddr5, msi z690 torpedo ddr5, msi z690 tomhawk ddr5, Gigabyte Z690 GAMING X DDR5, GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS ELITE AX, Gigabyte Z690 UD AX (rev. 1.x), asus z690-f rog strix ddr5
Need a m2 nvme ssd so should I go for samsung 980 evo 1tb or samsung 980 pro pcie4 500gb?
Moreover are there any m2 2280 adapter to 2 sata6 ports so I can run 7 hdds plus a DVD writer since I want to preserve pcie for a dvbs2x tuner card in future.
Got a question when will the new atx v3 power supply pcie5 ready release? Should I go for coolermaster 650w or 750w mwe gold full modular or wait for new atx v3 cuz of being more future proof?
Need an ultrawide monitor 29-30 inch monitor for gaming & more room for video editing so please recommend me adequate nvidia gpu base on these two monitors. One of the them is msi Optix MAG301RF 25601080p 200hz monitor & lg 29wk600 2560 1080p 75hz.
At last how's the temperature of 12700k is it worth it to go for noctua d15?
Any help will be appreciated
Regards

If possible, I would return said ram. That price, for only 16gb is insane. That 3060ti is overpriced.

Switch motherboards and get DDR4. You want VMs. I would go for 2x32GB.

Hi sir
Thanks for the advice
This build like my former 3770k build last for years to come at least for 6-7 years so I want to switch to ddr5 pcie for being more future proof. My budget is at most 1500 bucks.

There is no such thing as future proof. Z690 will support 13th gen, but it is highly unlikely it will support 14th. DDR5 is not worth the cost. You can get twice the capacity, for half the price. DDR5 boards currently have bugs with regards to ram support. DDR4 is mature, and far less headache.

Hi sir
Thanks a lot for the advice
Got a question lookin for a good mobo on a budget decided to get a pcie5 compatible mobo since the next gen nvidia cards will be released in 2022 are pcie5 compatible. Was looking for a mobo that supports pcie5 has at a reasonable price. Need at least 6 sata 6gb ports 2.5 intel gbe lan for media server purpose, wifi 6 for transfering files between new android phone & mobo. Can this mobo msi z690 pro wifi get my 12700k to 5ghz via intel turbo technology 3 or need a mobo with better vrm like z690 tomhawk? It supports the ram KF560C40BBK2-16 that I ve got on sale on 6000mhz xmp profile
Are there any available m2 2280 adapter to 2 sata 6gb ports so I can hook up 7 hdds & a DVD writer to this mobo?

In my home country the price of m2 nvme samsung pcie3 1tb is much lower compare to samsung 980 pro pcie4 1tb? Is the pro pcie4 one worth it or not?

Next gen Nvidia may not be Gen 5, as many believed.
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-...40-series-might-not-feature-pcie-gen5-support

The Z690 tomahawk is a nice board. This might be easier, if you follow the link in my sig, and come back with answers. Also a pc partpicker list helps too, for what you are thinking about buying.

Hi sir
Thanks for the advice
Sorry should have prepared the list at first
Got a question sir already got the 12700k & Kingston fury 16gb 2*8 6000mhz KF560C40BBK2-16 on sale. In order to enable intel turbo boost technology 3 on 12700k to get into 5ghz & oc the specific ram that I mentioned above to its pre-optimized intel xmp profile 6000mhz Can the msi z690 pro get the job done or need a better mobo like msi z690 tomhawk ddr5 with much better vrm? Or the tomhawk is overkill for 12700k on a budget?
Any help will be appreciated
Regards

Thanks a lot sir for the advice
Got a question sir can the rtx 3060 ti handle this 2560x1080p 200hz monitor?
MSI Full HD Rapid-IPS 1ms 2560 x 1080 Ultra Wide 200Hz Refresh Rate HDR Ready G-Sync Compatible 30” Gaming Monitor (Optix MAG301RF)
Will the price of hardware components decrease in upcoming months?

It should be able to handle it. GPU pricing has been dropping, but how much more they will go down, is unknown.
Thanks a lot sir for all the hints
Could the 3060 or 3060 ti be able to give decent frame rates on demanding games like assassin creed, far cry or cyberpunk on the msi mag301rf 30 inch 2560x1080p 200hz? Or should go for 3070 instead?
Got a question, how's life expendency of samsung 980 vs 980 pro?
At last is it a safe thing to add couple sata 6 ports via a m2 key to sata expansion card for non-raid purpose like the one below if a mobo with single pcie slot is already occupied with a dvbs2 tv tuner card?
M2 key to sata expansion card
appreciated
