New art for the 7th Anniversary gifts
Support for a sixth character slot
Localization updates
Players will no longer be able to bypass the EA and UO logo screens when
starting the UO client.
2D Client
Fixed a client crash issue related to Archery
If patched correctly, your current version will display 4.0.3a for both
clients.

Err.... And HOW are they supposed to do this if the files have been renamed
or deleted? Sounds more like wishful thinking to me. After I got the patch,
I ran the game..... No Logo movies.... Hummmm...... *Sigh* Sad that they
think that they need to *Force* us to watch their logo movies.
Long live the EA! (In hell....)

For this I pay? Just how is this an improvement in the game play?

I just checked: I still don't get the EA and UO logo screens when
starting either the 2D or 3D clients. I must have broke them GOOD.

Which files do you rename? I just got the patch, had the computer crash
while adjusting the firewall settings to the new requirements, and now have
to put up with the intro b.s.

Must be the latest brain-fart in the Piss-off-the-Paying-Customers Program.

To bad they didn't put the effort into the lag problem. I'm on cable and
have had to wait up to 20 seconds for a spell to start after hitting the
macro key way to many times. Heck at times the spell doesn't happen period.

Go into the music folder, look for "osilogo.bik" and "ealogo.bik" ; those
are what you need to rename/delete.
(Note, this works for ANY EA game, i.e. Battlefield 1942 and its expansions)
I merely renamed mine to SKIPealogo.bik and same for the other, just in case
they do something down the line where I need them after some sadistic patch
to make the game shutdown if you don't have them. I don't put anything past
EA.

I don't see why the morons don't just modify the login screen to have
an EA logo on it. That thing is ugly as hell anyway, putting their
branding logos on it couldn't make it any worse and then we'd have to
look at them anytime we wanted to log in.

Did they mean that they disabled the ability to "mouseclick" past the intro
scenes? Before the patch you could, with a single mouse click anywhere on
screen (or by pressing enter) skip each sequence. Now the sequence runs the
full length regardless. Unless of course you rename the .bik files
