Hello. I decided to build a new gaming PC around 1000-1300$ but I want my PC to have quality parts so I can avoid unnecessary trouble.. ( ex. A friend told me to avoid Gigabyte because his GPU broke 2 times ) That's why I need your help to suggest me a good GPU. I currently have "MSI GTX1060 6GB Gaming X" and I had no problems for many years so I thought maybe I should go for " MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 Ventus 2X Black OC " but I am not sure which is better now NVIDIA or AMD GPU etc.. A friend suggested me this AMD GPU " Sapphire Radeon RX 7600 XT 16GB GDDR6 Pulse " but what do you think? Any suggestions? ( My budget for GPU: 300 - 500$ ) If you have any questions let me know. Thank you for your time!

When it comes to AIB models, diffs are power delivery, cooling (including fan noise) and aesthetics. While performance is essentially equal across all models. There are some variations in boost clocks and if cooling isn't sufficient enough, thermal throttle can play a role in performance. Still, RTX 4060 Ti is so low power GPU that thermals are hardly an issue.

Here are thermals comparison between some different AIB models,

To see differences in boost clocks, look here,

Scroll down until you see different AIB models. There are actually a lot of different RTX 4060 Ti models.

All-in-all, it matters little which AIB model you get.
I, personally, prefer MSI. Especially Gaming X (or Z) series. (Too poor for Suprim series. :cry:) MSI Gaming X series is one of the quietest while one of the best cooling AIB models. Have several in use as well, like MSI GTX 1060 3G Gaming X and MSI GTX 1660 Ti Gaming X. My future GPUs (probably RTX 5060) will also be MSI Gaming X series.

MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 Ventus 2X Black OC
Do note that Ventus is MSI low-end option. If you want good GPU, look towards Gaming or Gaming X series.

Sapphire Radeon RX 7600 XT 16GB GDDR6 Pulse
Overall, RTX 4060 Ti is both better performing and consumes less power as well (160W vs 190W).

Thank you for the comparison. Well, I was thinking for MSI too but the Sapphire RX 7600XT that my friend recommended has 16GB VRam so I believe that's a more suitable option for me because it's way cheaper and the games I play are not always demanding... (League of Legends,Marvel Rivals etc) Sure I maybe play a more demanding game every now and then like Resident Evil or Elden Ring Series but MSI RTX 4060 Ti 8GB is 100 euro more expensive than Sapphire at least in my country.. So Sapphire with 16GB costs 350 euro and MSI with 8 GB VRam costs 450 euro.. Is it worth paying 100 euros more for MSI for my usage?

What are 7700xt's going for in your area, as I am assuming you are not in the US. I would not buy an 8gb gpu in 2025.

Well I am not in the US indeed.. I am also not sure if a gpu 8gb is worth it... so I wanted to ask you guys while I was searching the web for more info.. So the price of Sapphire 7600xt 16GB is 350 euros and the price for 7700xt but 12GB starts from 420 euros.

Between the three, RX 7700XT has best price per performance ratio. Overall better than RTX 4060 Ti 8GB and being cheaper than the RTX 4060 Ti you're looking at.

However, RX 7700XT is 245W GPU and now comes the most important question;
PSU make and model (or part number) is? Also, how old the PSU is, and was the PSU bought new or used/refurbished?

Sidenote: There is 16GB RTX 4060 Ti out there as well but it costs considerably more and more VRAM alone doesn't make much diff;
