Hello guys I just joined the forums because today i finally got all the parts I needed for my very first PC build, I currently use a Mac but want a solid gaming PC. Unluckily I couldn't get it to post and went through some trouble shoot.
System is:
Ryzen 5 2600
Aorus B450 Pro Wifi
500w Gigabyte PSU
Gigabyte RX 570
240gb WD green m.2 SSD.
Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 mhz 8gbx1

Everything is out of the box, already restted cmos and im not really experienced so couldn't do much more.

VGA red led is turned on, removed my ram and changed slots (also left it out to see if i got a RAM led, which i did) so the ram was being detected. Overall everything turns on, just no display )tried different hdmi cables to make sure it wasnt faulty) fans work, RGB works, even my strafe and g502 light up perfectly. Just no video and red VGA light

For the gpu, I already changed it to lower pci slot with no luck, plugged it back with a different cable, it lights up, it runs the fans, still n display. I seriously need help, im completely demotivated as this took a lot of time and effort to bring together. Before you say, No, i don't have a "spare" gpu to test it out.

Attach an internal speaker, if you have (should have come either with the mobo, or the case).
The error codes will save you lots of trouble. If you turn it on and get one short beep, that means all is good and it is probably just a video issue of sorts. I heard of tales, where hdmi for example couldn't be used to post the first time.

And red VGA LED means that your GPU wasn't detected. So the only way is to either plug it into another PC and see if it is running, or try another GPU. I know you said you don't have any, but that's what your mobo tells you.

There was no speaker with the mobo or case sadly

Don't have access to any of those, I have a macbook air and that's it

Well, your problem is related to the GPU, according to your motherboard.
This could mean several things: It is not properly seated / snapped in place, it is dead on arrival (unlikely, but possible), if it needs power from the psu, you didn't connect all necessary cables or not properly, or your motherboard has issues with its PCIe slots (unlikely).

Yeah i ran some research on the VGA led light, I tried moving the GPU to the other pci slot without any luck, so that discards the slots, unplugged and plugged back in several times (when unplugged, the gpu has a white led that turns on to indicate this) Seated it back in a few times.

Are there any chances that the CPU or MOBO are flawed? like a missing connection on the 8 pin for the cpu (i check that as well) or a DOA mobo? Since removing the ram actually changed the led light to ram i may think that the MOBO is working by recognizing different errors

Of course chances are that it is the motherboard in the end, but you will only find out by an eliminating process. In case of the VGA LED indicating problems with the GPU, I would test that first. No friend with a compatible PC, where you could test the GPU in? Maybe IT dept. at work/school etc.?
