Today i got a new cpu ( ryzen 5 3600 ) and swapped it with ryzen 5 2600 which i presumed would be an easy process and it was. But when i went back Plugged everything in and powered it on my monitor showed a connection by turning blue by its power button but suddenly said no signal and went back to standby ( orange ). I tried taking the displayport cable putting it in and out multiple times , this did not work. i reinstalled my gpu , ram and cpu again. Then i tried my old cpu and it booted again ( fans Rgb lights running blue ). After this i turned it on and off but had to use the psu power button as when i hold the main power button it just flashes doing nothing. I tried on a tv with a hdmi , im lost at this point as it was working perfect hours before so it can’t be my psu. My new graphics card arrives tomorrow ( rtx 2060 ) and i wll see if that works.

my specs:
Gigabyte b450m gaming motherboard
gtx 1060 6GB
ryzen 5 2600 and the 3600 that i was trying.
16gb ram 2x8 corsair vengeance
750w psu ( aerocool)
1TB HDD
128gb ssd

Solution
Did you update the motherboard BIOS to the most recent version BEFORE installing the 3rd gen Ryzen? If not, this is the likely issue.
That doesn't mean that your motherboard (possible older stock) has the necessary version installed.
Oh i understand , i will check soon and go over some things because my old cpu is not showing display now. It does not work with my old cpu now but yesterday when i was replugging in the displayport cable it randomly worked? It only did it once and ive tried multiple times to no avail. i dont really understand that

Don't do that (cable swapping while powered on). That is a good way (bad outcome) to short your rig, resulting in permanent damage. The video connection carries live power.

sorry for the bother, i had to update the bios to use it but as i bent the pins on the 3600 one of the ram slot gives me a error message so im returning it and going to get a new one
