Question No display with AMD card

I have 2 systems. One with an nvidia card and one with and amd card. If i use the nvidia card both systems work fine, but if i put the amd card in neither of them work. There is no display through the gpu or through the motherboard with the amd card in. Any help would be great thnx.

Please post the full specs of each system.

Assuming they're up to scratch re: power etc, the 580 may well be dead.

Which 580 specifically?
