No signal to pc problem

Hi basically I have a custom built computer that has only dvi adapters on the graphics card.

I'm running a dvi to VGA adapter from it then the VGA cable from that into the screen but nothing is happening. It was working fine this morning but I have since took all my wires out and rewired it all due to the PC switching rooms. On the screen I'm getting no signal to PC but I know the wires are fine because I tried a different PC from downstairs and that works fine on the screen.

I'm not very well clued up on computers wires have an OK understanding of how they work

Any help would be great. Thanks

If it worked previously, then just double check everything is plugged in firmly. This should just be a matter of finding the correct combination.
